Surfs Up

It’s that beautiful time of year that a string of talented, sexy, hot ass surfers are heading to a beach near you.

Wintertime is the best time for good surf in South Africa and we’re lucky enough to boast a variety of international events. The best part is they’re spread around the country so just about everyone gets a turn.

If you haven’t already heard, the O’Neill Cold Water Classic is already underway in our mother city. 2 of our homebaked hotties Damien Fahernfort and Rudy Palmboom are amongst 100 other surfers to compete in it.

The boys then head off to Durban for the Mr Price Pro. We watched Ricky Basnett claim a victory in 2006 and Travis Logie squeeze into the final last year so this year should be just as tantalising! For the first time it will be held in Ballito, it’s a gorgeous place to soak up the sun and be apart of the action.

If that’s not enough, JBay then hosts the Billabong Pro…you’ll have to trade in your cheeky shorts for an umbrella coz JBay is freezing this time of year but with cool bands lined up to keep you busy in the evenings it’s always loads of fun.
